A Visionary in Finance, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship: Prof. Dr. Gülüzar KURT GÜMÜŞ
She is a pioneering academic who combines her deep academic background in finance and business sciences with practical experience in the entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem. She serves as a Professor of Finance in the Department of International Trade and Business at Dokuz Eylül University’s Faculty of Business.
In the same department, she has held roles as Head of Department, Senate Member at the Rectorate level, Director of Dokuz Eylül University Continuing Education Center (DESEM), and a Board Member of Dokuz Eylül University Technopark Inc. (DEPARK A.Ş.). She conducted research in Germany with a scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
Beyond her academic work, as the founder of the innovative ventures “Thiscover Me” and “Group Shift,” she bridges the gap between academia and the business world by applying financial theories to real-world problems. Her multifaceted expertise combines rigorous research and a vision for practical leadership, pioneering next-generation solutions at the intersection of finance and innovation.
